Tool Install Area Coordinator (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Coordinate process-tool demonstration, installation, and qualification from design and construction through SL2SO/DSL3.
• Support project and area leadership with safety, quality, scope, schedule, and budget indicators.
• Coordinate with Foundry customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal tool-install counterparts to resolve scope and execution issues.
• Represent the local organization in Central Tool Install and Virtual Factory forums, applying Copy Exactly and Best Known Methods.
• Lead task forces, after-action reviews, Lean initiatives, and continuous-improvement activities.
• Drive safety culture, innovation, engineering solutions, and readiness for progression into a Tool Install Project Manager role.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of project or program management experience in large-scale construction or factory tool installation and qualification ramp activities.
• Leadership, communication, planning, decision-making, problem-solving, and influencing skills in a matrix environment.
• Ability to coordinate third-party operations and work hands-on across construction and tool-install areas.
• Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, Arizona, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in a semiconductor foundry.
• Expertise in process-tool installation and demolition.
• Leadership experience on medium- or large-scale projects.
• PMP certification and experience with Lean methodologies.
