What you will do

• Lead and coordinate daily shipping activities to meet production and delivery schedules.
• Perform inventory, invoicing, and shipping transactions within the ERP system.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily Gemba walks and meetings to promote continuous improvement and team engagement.
• Manage scheduling and communication with external carriers like FedEx and UPS.
• Train and mentor shipping team members on procedures, safety, and best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in receiving, warehouse operations, or inventory control.
• Proven ability to operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., QAD, SAP, Oracle).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in St. Pauls, NC.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Nice to have

• Supervisory or lead experience in receiving or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
