What you will do

• Design and operate the molecule queue to broker compounds between AI scientists and the lab platform.
• Build the canonical molecule registry, including structure normalization and stable ID management.
• Develop pipelines to ingest data from automated synthesis and QC instruments into a queryable store.
• Maintain live state systems for synthesis constraints, inventory, and capacity planning.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and schema evolution for high-throughput scientific workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience building production-grade data platforms.
• Fluent in Python and SQL with production-quality coding standards.
• Experience with relational or NoSQL database schema design and query optimization.
• Proficiency with AWS and containerized deployment using Kubernetes.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with RDKit or OpenEye for cheminformatics.
• Experience building compound registration systems or LIMS/ELN integrations.
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Flyte, Airflow, or Dagster.
• Knowledge of modern lakehouse patterns (Iceberg, Delta Lake) and columnar processing.
