What you will do

• Design and build agent orchestration systems for multi-step workflows with sequencing, state management, and error recovery
• Implement agent skills and tools exposing model capabilities to automated and interactive workflows
• Develop inference infrastructure optimized for latency, throughput, and reliability
• Design and build APIs and integrations for external system interaction
• Create internal tools to accelerate research and evaluation pipelines
• Establish and maintain software engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, code review, and documentation

Requirements

• Location: Must work onsite in New York or Bay Area
• BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years building production software systems
• Experience integrating ML models, including LLM-based systems
• Strong Python engineering skills with maintainable, well-tested code
• Experience designing APIs and cloud infrastructure, containerization, deployment pipelines

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks and agent architectures
• Familiarity with MCP or similar model-integration protocols
• Background in biology, chemistry, computational biology, or related natural sciences
• Experience building internal tools for research or data science teams
• Expertise in inference optimization for large models
