What you will do

• Perform copyediting and proofreading for knowledge products intended for the general public, donors, governments, and partners.
• Finalize data-driven thematic reports, brochures, technical documents, and toolkits.
• Review and edit funding proposals, donor reports, academic articles, and blog posts.
• Prepare digital products, webpage content, and concept notes.
• Ensure all products meet the highest international quality and editorial standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Literature, Journalism, Creative/technical writing, Public Health, or Social Sciences.
• 7 years of relevant professional experience in journalism, editing/copyediting/proofreading, and/or communications.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Proficiency with standard office software, including Microsoft Word and Adobe.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to strict deadlines.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in copyediting and proofreading for hirify.global or other UN organizations/agencies.
• Knowledge and familiarity with basic design principles.
