Proposal Specialist

Location: Hybrid role based in Rochester, Buffalo, or Syracuse, New York, United States

Salary: $50,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Search for RFPs and route relevant opportunities to the appropriate firm audiences.
• Support pre-proposal and pre-interview planning with technical teams and apply established win strategies.
• Write, edit, format, and produce qualifications packages, proposals, presentations, and interview materials with minimal oversight.
• Coordinate information from subcontractors and internal stakeholders for inclusion in pursuit materials.
• Maintain staff biographies, project descriptions, statistics, and other segment marketing information.
• Identify and manage opportunities for award submissions, case studies, photography, tradeshows, speaking engagements, advertising, and sponsorships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in A/E/C marketing or business development.
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems.
• Excellent time management, project management, writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as required to build positive working relationships with stakeholders.
• Submit a cover letter demonstrating writing ability and a resume demonstrating graphic design ability.

Nice to have

• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Portfolio demonstrating graphic design and layout experience.
