What you will do

• Support the editorial process for academic research journals within food science disciplines.
• Organize and manage the peer review process for submitted manuscripts.
• Coordinate editorial decisions and communicate with authors, reviewers, and editors.
• Ensure scholarly articles are edited and published accurately according to strict deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal editorial and production teams to maintain consistency.

Requirements

• PhD (preferred) or Master's degree in food-related disciplines (e.g., food science, engineering, chemistry, microbiology, nutrition).
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong sense of responsibility and ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
• Must be able to work full-time in the Manchester city centre office.
