What you will do

• Build and maintain financial models for development platforms and project portfolios to evaluate IRR and capital needs.
• Prepare decision-focused materials for project funding, platform acquisitions, and exits for investment committees.
• Monitor operational and financial performance of portfolio companies against business plans and budgets.
• Track project progress through key development stage-gates including grid connectivity, permitting, and construction.
• Review development expenditure requests and challenge cost assumptions across competing projects.
• Act as a board observer or steering committee member to improve governance and commercial consistency.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to London, UK
• Relevant experience in private equity, infrastructure investment, renewable energy, or investment banking.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and investment-analysis skills.
• Experience preparing investment committee, transaction, or board materials.
• Ability to analyze complex information and form clear, commercially grounded recommendations.
• Strong written communication and presentation skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams.

Nice to have

• Experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or the wider energy transition.
• Understanding of renewable project development including land, grid, permitting, and project finance.
• Experience reviewing acquisitions, disposals, financings, or restructurings.
