TL;DR
Senior Field Service Technician (Liquid Cooling): Leading complex installations, startups, and commissioning of advanced liquid cooling systems for data centers with an accent on mechanical, hydronic, electrical, and thermal subsystem troubleshooting. Focus on isolating root causes across hardware and software in mission-critical 24x7 environments and mentoring junior technicians.
Location: Carrollton, Texas. Preference for candidates based in Atlanta, GA or Denver, CO.

What you will do
- Lead on-site installation, startup, commissioning, and validation of liquid cooling systems.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting across mechanical, hydronic, electrical, and thermal subsystems.
- Coordinate work within 24x7 mission-critical data center environments (UPS, PDU, BMS/DCIM).
- Serve as the primary technical representative and escalation point for customers.
- Mentor junior technicians and provide operational training to customer technical teams.
- Generate detailed service reports, commissioning documentation, and root-cause analyses.
Requirements
- 5+ years of field service experience in HVAC, industrial cooling, or mission-critical infrastructure.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (Types I, II, and III) required.
- OSHA 10 (General Industry) required.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings without supervision.
- Willingness to travel approximately 75% (primarily domestic, occasional international).
- Valid driver’s license and passport.
Nice to have
- Experience with hyperscale facilities, colocation, or high-density liquid cooling.
- OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E (arc flash) certifications.
- Prior experience with operators like Equinix, Digital Realty, or CoreSite.
