Quality Assurance Manager (HVAC)

What you will do

• Conduct structured walkthroughs of manufacturing operations to identify quality concerns before shipment.
• Perform on-site QA/QC inspections at customer data centers to verify equipment installation and commissioning.
• Assess mechanical system performance, including hydronic loop integrity and refrigerant circuit health.
• Generate structured inspection reports and nonconformance logs for the Director of Quality.
• Collaborate with tech support and factory leadership to resolve systemic quality or design concerns.
• Develop and refine inspection checklists, MOPs, SOPs, and QA/QC documentation standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in HVAC/mechanical systems or industrial equipment manufacturing.
• 4+ years of experience in a Quality role (engineer, supervisor, or manager).
• Proven QA/QC experience in data center or critical infrastructure environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, submittals, MOPs, and SOPs.
• Proficiency with BAS/BMS platforms for system verification.
• Must be based in the USA and able to travel 50-65% of the time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Turbocor centrifugal chiller platforms.
• Familiarity with dry cooler or adiabatic cooling systems.
• Background in technical mentorship or instructor-level training.
