What you will do

• Design and build highly concurrent, distributed backend services in Go for proxy gateways and control-plane platforms.
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs and adapt existing approaches to resolve ambiguous technical problems.
• Collaborate with product managers and DevOps/SRE partners to translate requirements into well-tested code.
• Contribute to secure handling of network protocols and cryptographic systems like TLS/mTLS and key management.
• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain high standards for performance and security.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues in distributed, multi-cloud production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Working knowledge of Go (Golang), distributed systems, and backend service development.
• Experience with AWS or other major cloud providers and cloud-native deployment models.
• Familiarity with API design (gRPC/Protobuf or RESTful APIs).
• Must be based in Mexico City and able to work from the office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Familiarity with secure protocols, mTLS/PKI, or secrets management tools.
• Exposure to proxying database, SSH/RDP, or Kubernetes traffic.
• Understanding of Zero Trust architecture or policy-as-code.
