Senior UICC/eUICC/eSIM Engineer

Develops Consumer eSIM and IoT eUICC products for use across devices and mobile networks.

What you will do

• Own the engineering and validation lifecycle for SGP.22 Consumer eSIM and SGP.32 IoT eUICC products.
• Review profiles and translate product requirements into technical specifications.
• Define and execute certification and validation strategies using GSMA artefacts such as SAIP and BAP.
• Run laboratory and real-world interoperability testing across devices and mobile networks.
• Investigate SIM, device, and network issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate fixes with internal teams and external vendors.
• Support remote provisioning platforms, vendors, production acceptance criteria, technical documentation, and go/no-go rollout decisions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in SIM, eSIM, or eUICC engineering, validation, certification, or a closely related technical domain.
• Experience working with GSMA standards, particularly SGP.22 and SGP.32.
• Strong understanding of UICC/eUICC architecture, profile lifecycle, and OTA/provisioning processes.
• Experience designing and executing test strategies using certification-style artefacts such as SAIP or BAP.
• Ability to debug complex issues across SIM, device, and network layers and coordinate resolution with multiple stakeholders.
• Operational experience with remote provisioning platforms, including SMDP+ and eIM, is required for the role scope.
