What you will do
- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team of data engineers.
- Create and execute a strategic data engineering roadmap.
- Design and maintain large-scale data pipelines and warehouses in a production environment.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Champion automation, observability, and performance standards across data infrastructure.
- Ensure data security, compliance, and governance initiatives are upheld.
Requirements
- 8+ years of data engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing a data engineering team.
- Must have legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Strong fluency in SQL and Python.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS) and warehouses (Redshift or Snowflake).
- Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow and data integration tools.
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce, Iterable, or cloud-based web applications.
- Experience developing curated data layers for Tableau.
- Experience deploying and maintaining AI/ML models in production.
- Experience with Agile engineering practices.
- Background in higher education or edtech.
