What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain multi-region, highly available, and performant Kafka infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain underlying infrastructure for Kafka clusters.
• Improve developer experience for cross-functional teams using event-driven architecture.
• Enhance CI/CD systems to enable safe and efficient application deployment.
• Collaborate with product teams to implement new infrastructure and services.
• Provide technical insights and recommendations for project delivery.

Requirements

• Must be based in Germany.
• Strong hands-on experience with managed and self-hosted Kafka services and applications.
• Experience with Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams.
• Proficiency in CI/CD systems and concepts.
• Experience with AWS-managed services and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Strimzi operator.
• Experience with AWS MSK.
• Experience developing in-house Kafka Connectors.
