Production Chef (Hospitality)

Location: Nunavut, Canada (Rotation: 21 days on / 21 days off, Fly-in / Fly-out). Must be able to depart from Mirabel or Val-d'Or airports.

What you will do

• Plan and manage rotating menu production for high-volume catering.
• Supervise kitchen productivity and ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
• Manage food procurement, costs, and budgets to achieve financial objectives.
• Provide training and support to employees to drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee human resources, conflict resolution, and monthly inventory counts.
• Ensure food preparation adheres to MAPAQ and Dexterra hygiene and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada with the ability to work in isolated environments.
• Diploma in hospitality/catering or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in kitchen team management.
• Proven experience in high-volume cooking and managing food and labor costs.
• English proficiency: B2 required.
• MAPAQ Hygiene and Food Safety Manager certification is strongly recommended.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in remote work within the natural resources or construction sectors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
