What you will do

• Manage day-to-day gym operations, including member check-ins, sign-ups, and rule enforcement.
• Perform regular cleaning and disinfecting of equipment, mats, and facility areas (restrooms, locker rooms).
• Collaborate with Lodge and Operations Managers to synchronize gym activities with overall camp schedules.
• Uphold the HSEQ program, generate usage reports, and document incidents or corrective actions.
• Oversee inventory management, supply ordering, and maintain staff certification records.

Requirements

• College program completion in recreation, physical education, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in gym coordination or administration.
• Must be able to travel via fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) from Edmonton to Nunavut.
• Ability to work rotational schedules (e.g., 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off) and withstand extreme northern climates.
• Required: Valid driver’s license, Criminal Background check, FIT Health Assessment, and drug/alcohol testing.
• Physical ability to lift and move items up to 40–50 lbs.
