Location: Onsite at remote camp locations in Northern Manitoba, Canada. Travel provided from Winnipeg, Thompson, Flin Flon, and The Pas.

Salary: CAD 19.50 - 20.50 per hour

What you will do

• Execute daily dinner service and prepare feature proteins to meet quality standards.
• Produce breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks according to approved methods and budgets.
• Supervise meal portioning and coordinate kitchen staff activities.
• Manage food storage and rotation of all supplies.
• Collaborate with culinary leadership to monitor daily production operations.

Requirements

• Previous professional cooking experience.
• Current Food Safe certificate required.
• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check and pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work a rotational schedule of 2 weeks on / 1 week off.

Nice to have

• Experience in large scale camp cooking.
• Red Seal or other professional culinary certifications.
• Experience in accurately producing weekly inventories.
• Previous experience in supervising a culinary team.
