What you will do

• Install electrical circuits, grounding leads, lighting fixtures, and life safety systems in modular structures.
• Mount motors, transformers, and light fixtures according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Conduct weekly test runs of emergency diesel generators and inspect emergency power systems.
• Replace and repair faulty electrical components, including switches, sockets, and ballasts.
• Implement scheduled preventive maintenance for power equipment, transformers, breakers, and HVAC systems.
• Analyze electrical drawings to troubleshoot and repair systems up to 600V.

Requirements

• Registered Journeyman or Apprentice.
• 5 years of electrical work experience in construction settings.
• Current 3-year driver abstract.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 45 lbs and climbing ladders.
• Proficiency with trade-specific hand and power tools.
• Condition of employment: Must pass drug and alcohol testing due to the safety-sensitive nature of the role.
