What you will do

• Define, develop, and execute characterization and validation procedures for SAS, SATA, PCIe, NVMe, DDR4, and ONFI standards.
• Validate and debug prototype silicon through pre-silicon and post-silicon testing in a laboratory environment.
• Develop Python scripts, host software tools, and automated test applications for validation equipment and low-level system testing.
• Create signal integrity simulation models using IBIS-AMI and support evaluation board test feature development.
• Identify and resolve signal quality, layout, and system-level issues with board development teams and design partners.
• Present technical information, support customer bring-up, and contribute to engineering notes, data sheets, and architectural manuals.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong understanding of transmission line theory, high-speed I/O, computer architecture, and system-level operation.
• Experience with VNAs, TDRs, spectrum analyzers, real-time oscilloscopes, jitter, and EMI.
• Ability to write and debug Python programs, with some experience in C and MATLAB.
• Experience with automated validation scripts, SPICE or ADS analog simulation, IBIS-AMI models, and system-level debugging.
