Test Technician III (Aerospace Electronics)

What you will do

• Execute module, payload, antenna, and electronics test plans and provide concise, timely reports.
• Create, assemble, and validate documented test setups using instrumentation, cabling, devices under test, and custom fixtures.
• Use and maintain spectrum analyzers, VNAs, automated power supplies, RF signal generators, vector signal analyzers, oscilloscopes, and DMMs.
• Test and troubleshoot complex electronics and RF circuitry from component level through system level in collaboration with engineers.
• Organize antenna testing facilities and validate measurement solutions, including instruments and cabling.
• Support production and product-validation test station development through cable harness, PCB, and fixture assembly and rework.

Requirements

• Must work on-site in Austin, Texas, United States.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, conditional resident, asylee, refugee, or otherwise eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations under U.S. space technology export regulations.
• High school diploma required; an Associate of Applied Science degree in electronics, computer science, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• At least three years of relevant experience working with active electronics, schematics, mechanical assembly documentation, and automated test systems.
• Ability to solder, build and rework PCBs and cabling, create test documentation, troubleshoot electronics, and work under deadlines.
• Strong organization, written and verbal communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience testing active phased arrays or AESAs.
• Experience with aerospace electronics, analog and digital electronic principles, Python scripts, or LabVIEW test automation.
• Familiarity with MS Teams, Confluence, and Jira.
