Engineering Technician (RF/Antenna)

Location: Duluth, Georgia, United States; onsite role. Requires US citizenship, up to 10% travel, and alternate-shift availability.

Salary: $32.21–$50.96 per hour. Specific locations in the San Jose, San Francisco Bay Area, and New York City metropolitan area may offer $40.14–$60.34 per hour.

What you will do

• Build and integrate antenna assemblies and RF components.
• Set up and run antenna characterization tests, including gain, G/T, axial ratio, passive intermodulation, phase matching, and return loss/VSWR.
• Document test setups, design changes, configurations, and measurement results.
• Troubleshoot performance issues with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and systems engineering teams.
• Support test automation, measurement efficiency, and continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
• Travel occasionally to customer or test sites for installation, verification, or troubleshooting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on technical experience with electronics, RF systems, or related hardware.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in engineering is preferred.
• Ability to follow written procedures and complete assigned tasks independently.
• Functional proficiency with computers and common software tools.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to travel 10% and work alternate shifts as needed.

Nice to have

• Experience with RF and antenna test equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, power meters, signal generators, and PNFs.
• Experience with antenna or RF measurements in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to write simple scripts in MATLAB, LabVIEW, Visual Basic, or similar tools.
• Strong organization of test data, configurations, and documentation.
• Interest in broader RF, antenna, or system-level engineering support.
