What you will do

• Provide kitchen management during the Chef's absence
• Design, prepare, and serve high-quality rotational menus
• Supervise kitchen staff productivity and compliance with health and safety policies
• Ensure food preparation follows FOODSAFE protocols
• Manage food and labor resources within budget guidelines
• Record and report inventory and costs on a regular basis

Requirements

• Journeyperson or Red Seal Certificate required
• SafeCheck advanced food safety or HACCP certification required
• At least 5 years of experience in the hospitality or food service industry
• At least 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in hotels, resorts, or remote lodges
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
