Senior Resident Engineer (Transportation)

What you will do

• Lead and expand construction management capabilities for complex transportation projects in Arizona.
• Supervise project administration using traditional and alternative delivery methods (Design-Build, CMGC, CMAR, P3).
• Manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, and risks while overseeing materials testing and documentation.
• Drive business development through opportunity pursuit, proposal preparation (SOQs), and client relationship management.
• Direct field office operations and coordinate with agency staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Hire, mentor, and evaluate Resident Engineers, inspectors, and other construction services staff.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15+ years of experience in transportation engineering and/or construction management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona or the ability to obtain reciprocity.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience leading complex transportation construction projects for public agencies.
• Direct experience with ADOT construction.
• Strong expertise in alternative delivery methods.
