Systems Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Manage and participate in Proof of Concepts (POCs) in collaboration with internal and partner teams.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners.
• Design and position competitive security solutions that outperform market alternatives.
• Present technical plans and white papers to diverse stakeholders via whiteboarding and direct discussions.
• Manage multiple concurrent deals while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Portuguese is mandatory.
• Must be based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
• Proven experience in a pre-sales engineer role managing end-to-end technical deal closures.
• Strong aptitude for security technology, including encryption and authentication.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional customer relationships.
• Experience working across the SADC region.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, and anti-virus.
• Proficiency in routing, switching, LAN, and WAN technologies.
