What you will do

• Prepare hydraulic and hydrology studies, drainage reports, and design plans for stormwater projects.
• Perform H&H analysis calculations using governing codes, engineering formulas, and standards.
• Develop construction plans, specifications, technical memorandums, and probable cost estimates.
• Observe construction progress and coordinate directly with contractors.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines such as roadway, geotechnical, and structures.
• Mentor junior staff and designers to support professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License.
• 4+ years of experience in stormwater, H&H, and drainage.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads, Civil3D, or AutoCAD.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Draper, Utah.

Nice to have

• UDOT project experience.
• Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, and StormCAD.
• Experience performing floodplain mapping and analysis for FEMA and local agencies.
