Senior Frontend Developer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid or Remote (must be based in the US). Offices in Charlotte, NC, Wilmington, NC, and Raleigh, NC.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable TypeScript applications using React and WebComponents.
• Analyze and implement new features to streamline the end-user banking experience.
• Establish engineering standards and participate in peer code reviews to ensure high-quality codebase.
• Collaborate with cross-functional scrum teams to deliver features on a 2-week release cycle.
• Design and implement libraries and frameworks to effectively scale development across applications.
• Work closely with product managers and designers in a scaled agile environment.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the United States.
• 3+ years of experience working on a Scrum/Agile team.
• Proven expertise in developing and maintaining TypeScript React applications.
• Strong understanding of WebComponents and modern web technologies.
• Proficiency in unit testing, debugging, monitoring, and logging tools.
• Experience with AWS services, specifically AWS Lambdas and cloud-based architectures.
• Solid understanding of security principles and data protection in financial services.

Nice to have

• Experience within the fintech or banking industry.
• Experience with frontend build systems such as WebPack or Vite.
• Knowledge of Design Systems, Design Tokens, and Figma.
