Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX; Boston, MA; New York, NY; Seattle, WA; or Chicago, IL, United States. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates, and frequent travel to client sites may be required.

What you will do

• Design and implement integrations between client systems and the hirify.global platform.
• Architect agentic AI and human-in-the-loop workflows, including data ingestion, transformation, and feedback loops.
• Translate AI proofs of concept into scalable, production-ready workflows.
• Build APIs, connectors, automation scripts, and data pipelines, and debug integrations in client environments.
• Identify operational risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve reliability and reduce manual intervention.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, support pre-sales validation, and influence product roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go.
• Proficiency with Claude and relevant AI tools.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience building APIs, working with distributed systems, and designing data pipelines or ML infrastructure.
• Ability to evaluate end-to-end workflow performance, communicate with C-level and technical stakeholders, run technical workshops, and translate ambiguity into architecture.
