What you will do

• Support test and controls teams focused on aviation engine control systems.
• Lead engine system or component test programs, defining objectives, instrumentation, and test planning.
• Coordinate test data reviews with disciplines in design, performance, controls, stress, and additive manufacturing.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of control system issues during testing and production.
• Ensure all technical data is documented according to engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years of experience in gas turbine engine control systems, preferably in system integration and test.
• Strong proficiency with engine control tools, specifically Matlab.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with EEC and FADEC systems, as well as sensors and fuel systems.
• Understanding of engine performance and control system models used in hardware/software simulators.
