What you will do

• Install, align, and fasten components into sub-assemblies following standard work instructions.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment for assembly processes.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to guide assembly actions.
• Use specialized measuring and inspecting equipment to ensure strict compliance with design specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment to ensure availability.
• Track work progress and access technical documentation via prescribed computer software.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or medical industries.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and adherence to standard work instructions.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and remain in stationary positions for 5-6 hours per day.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) training or certification.
• Experience working with gas turbine engines for aviation applications.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with some ambiguity.
