What you will do

• Assemble, inspect, and test mechanical and electrical components for USVs following detailed technical drawings.
• Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to build systems and sub-systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to identify and solve assembly-related issues.
• Conduct routine quality control checks and document assembly procedures and test results.
• Optimize assembly processes to increase production efficiency and reduce errors.
• Use a manufacturing execution system to ensure part traceability and inventory management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in an assembly or mechanical technician role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Basic knowledge of electrical assembly and testing procedures.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures and documentation.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by U.S. export control laws.
• Must be independently authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with composites or fine carpentry.
