What you will do

• Perform advanced industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machining centers and lathes.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to maximize equipment uptime.
• Execute daily, weekly, and annual preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
• Coordinate machine installations, leveling, and startup activities.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement efforts for equipment reliability.
• Mentor junior technicians and establish maintenance best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies.
• Experience with CNC machine tools (e.g., DMG Mori, Makino, Haas, Okuma, Mazak).
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and ladder logic.
• Formal training in mechatronics, industrial maintenance, or a related skilled trade.

Nice to have

• Advanced troubleshooting with multi-axis CNC centers and Fanuc/Siemens/Mazak/Haas controls.
• Experience with servo systems, spindle systems, and automation interfaces.
• Vibration or lubrication analysis and predictive maintenance experience.
• Welding, light fabrication, or Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma training.
• Background in aerospace, defense, or military aircraft maintenance.
