What you will do
- Break high-impact exclusive stories on leveraged financing, private credit, and USD/EUR high-yield bond issuances.
- Monitor APAC market trends, major fund movements, and key personnel changes to inform editorial strategy.
- Collaborate with data specialists and credit/legal analysts to produce high-quality long-form content.
- Develop and nurture a high-level network of contacts within investment and legal communities.
- Represent the company as a subject matter expert at industry conferences, webinars, and panels.
Requirements
- Proven track record in financial journalism with deep specialization in capital markets, private credit, or HY bonds.
- Strong technical command of syndicated loans, bonds, and distressed debt restructurings.
- Strong writing skills with a scoop-first mindset and uncompromising attention to accuracy.
- Ability to navigate fast-paced environments and collaborate with sophisticated financial sources.
- Location: Must be based in Hong Kong, Singapore, or Sydney (Australia)
