What you will do

• Deploy and customize agentic software modernization platforms for mission-critical defense systems.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for government and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to design solutions for complex systems engineering challenges.
• Analyze massive software architectures and workflows to identify modernization opportunities.
• Develop technical recommendations and modernization plans for government program offices.

Requirements

• U.S. Persons status with a current Top Secret US DoD or IC clearance is required.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in DoW or IC environments.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
• Experience operating in regulated environments including DoD RMF and NIST 800-53.
• Strong technical communication skills for leading discussions with senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with legacy languages like Ada or CMS-2.
• Experience building or operating coding agents using LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, or MCP.
• Background in software architecture reviews and systems engineering.
• Prior experience working with defense primes or government program offices.
