Salary: $150K – $185K

What you will do

• Own and deliver high-quality software solutions deployed to customers to meet specific mission objectives.
• Develop and scale software capabilities for hirify.global products based on operational needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, build, and test complex autonomous functionality.
• Create and utilize performance metrics for debugging and monitoring deployed systems.
• Identify root causes of system issues, propose solutions, and coordinate resolution steps.
• Partner with end-users to translate operational needs into technical features.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with C++, Python, or Rust in a Linux development environment.
• Strong engineering background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
• Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
• Ability to quickly navigate and understand complex systems and established codebases.
• Must be a United States citizen and eligible for US Clearance.
• Must be based in the Honolulu, HI area or willing to relocate.

Nice to have

• Experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world scenarios.
• Familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS or MOOS-IvP.
• Experience with flight systems, safety-critical software, or hardware integration.
• Knowledge of distributed communication networks, messaging standards, and military operational tactics.
