What you will do

• Scale safe self-driving systems using an AI-first approach in collaboration with autonomy and algorithm engineers.
• Expand model deployment pipelines to new GPUs and embedded systems for next-generation onboard compute.
• Optimize onboard models using frameworks such as TensorRT and modelopt.
• Create and benchmark new CUDA kernels for inference.
• Comprehensively profile model runtime and memory to pinpoint performance bottlenecks.

Requirements

• MS/PhD or Bachelors degree with a minimum of 6 years of industry experience in Computer Science, Robotics, or similar fields.
• Solid coding proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and profiling tools (PyTorch Profiler, NVIDIA Nsight).
• Experience with Nvidia embedded platforms such as Nvidia Jetson or Thor.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience in model compilation and exporting, specifically with TensorRT.
• Ability to identify the need for and implement custom CUDA kernels.
• Experience with Bazel build systems and third-party package integration.
