What you will do

• Design and implement data pipelines using real-world and simulated driving data to train and evaluate deep learning models.
• Optimize data formats, caching, and dataloading to increase the efficiency of ML training and evaluation at scale.
• Improve data sampling and composition for deep introspection to track model performance and uncover edge cases.
• Maintain engineering excellence by writing high-quality, well-structured, and rigorously tested code.
• Contribute to project roadmap planning, prioritization, and delivery.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of industry experience.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Hands-on experience building distributed ETL and data processing pipelines.
• Direct experience managing ML pipelines, including dataset management and optimization.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience with MapReduce (Apache Hadoop/Spark) or orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Beam, Dataflow, Step Functions).
• Experience optimizing large-scale distributed training or ML inference pipelines.
• Knowledge of linear algebra, 3D geometry, and data challenges specific to autonomous driving.
• Experience working with multimodal sensor data (LiDAR, RADAR, camera).
