What you will do

• Monitor applicable laws and regulations to ensure enterprise-wide compliance and identify emerging risks.
• Conduct comprehensive compliance testing and report findings with timely resolution.
• Implement corrective actions to prevent non-compliance and mitigate operational risks.
• Provide regulatory guidance to staff regarding policies, procedures, and operating rules.
• Assist in the development and review of marketing materials, agreements, and disclosures.
• Support Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity programs, including tabletop exercises.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of compliance or audit experience in a credit union or bank.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal laws governing credit union or bank operations.
• Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough research and interpret complex regulatory requirements.
• College degree plus advanced coursework or equivalent experience in compliance.
• Must be able to work onsite in Hoover, AL.
