Cyber Analyst/Modeler (Cybersecurity): Supporting the daily operations of the NAVAIR Cyber Planning and Response Center with an accent on defensive cyber operations (DCO) and mission resilience. Focus on synthesizing qualitative vulnerabilities into actionable situational awareness and optimizing defensive resource allocation.

Location: On-site in Lexington Park, MD (5 days per week)

Salary: $69,804 - $180,706 per year

What you will do

• Support command and control (C2), oversight, and optimization of NAVAIR defensive cyber operations (DCO).
• Maintain real-time situational awareness, triaging and managing responses to cyber incidents and directives.
• Develop mathematical models and optimizing methods to assist management in decision-making and policy formulation.
• Analyze data to identify trends and inefficiencies, streamlining workflows and implementing new technologies.
• Establish and improve KPIs, MOEs, and MOCs to ensure the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and operational feasibility.

Requirements

• Current Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Must obtain DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) qualifications (roles 111, 461, 511, 541, 612, or 622) within 30 days of start.
• Minimum 3 years of experience performing cyber analysis or modeling work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Lexington Park, MD.

Nice to have

• Prior experience working with Cyber Planning and Response Centers (CPRC).
• Knowledge of CPRC policies, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP).
• Experience in incident response coordination and process improvement.
• Familiarity with DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3) and Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC).
