What you will do

• Design and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across core, distribution, access, and edge environments.
• Implement Zero Trust Architecture and network micro-segmentation strategies to protect critical assets.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching technologies and manage network services like VLANs, DNS, and VPNs.
• Secure perimeter environments via firewall policy management and 802.1X network access controls.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, support incident response, and integrate devices with SIEM platforms.
• Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, configuration standards, and SOPs.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Cisco networking experience.
• Expertise in NIST 800-53 security controls and Zero Trust Architecture principles.
• Strong understanding of network hardening, security baselines, and secure configuration management.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
• Must be located in Washington, DC for an on-site work schedule.

Nice to have

• Cisco certifications such as CCNP Enterprise or CCIE.
• Industry certifications: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or GIAC.
• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and SIEM integration.
