Director, Test Solutions Engineering Manager (West Coast Region)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States

Expected base pay: $185,390–$277,700 per year, excluding bonus and equity compensation.

What you will do

• Build, staff, and scale the West Coast Test Solutions Engineering team, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development.
• Lead end-to-end New Product Introduction programs from design start through production ramp.
• Define test strategies and architectures for ATE-based production testing and high-volume manufacturing readiness.
• Drive silicon bring-up, debug, characterization, test coverage validation, and performance validation.
• Act as the technical and managerial interface for customers and partner with design, DFT, product, test engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Lead reliability qualification, stress testing, return analysis, root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement in yield and test cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in custom processor or ASIC product engineering, test engineering, DFT, or technology characterization.
• Demonstrated experience managing or leading engineering teams, preferably across geographies.
• Strong knowledge of product engineering, test development, design-for-test, semiconductor devices and process technology, and quality and reliability practices.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical programs and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering or computer science.
