Software Engineer II (Typescript/AWS)

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop high-quality, maintainable TypeScript code for desktop and mobile browsers.
• Build and optimize serverless architecture using AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and AppSync.
• Convert designs and mocks into functional modules and clean code.
• Leverage AI tools to generate efficient and secure code.
• Implement and maintain automated tests using Cypress or Jest.
• Collaborate within a Scrum team to drive sprint goals and manage technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, coding bootcamp, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in AWS Serverless (Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, AppSync).
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and NoSQL single-table design.
• Availability during core Eastern US hours to work collaboratively with the team.
• Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience developing Healthcare applications.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Pulumi.
• Knowledge of Vue.
• Experience with observability tools like DataDog.
• Performance tuning for Lambda, DynamoDB, and AppSync.
