What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain features across the stack for a high-growth veterinary marketplace.
• Write clean, efficient code for both the React Native mobile application and backend services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and data teams to solve real business problems.
• Lead peer code reviews and provide mentorship to early-career engineers.
• Manage the full testing lifecycle using Jest for unit tests and Cypress for end-to-end tests.
• Partner with DevOps to optimize CI/CD workflows and overall system performance.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Experience with Node, Express, React, AWS, and relational databases (SQL).
• Must be based in the United States.
• Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native, Redux, and Next.js.
• Prior experience working within a growing, early-stage startup environment.
