Network Operations 2nd Line Engineering Professional (Networking)

Location: Fully on-site in Corsham, UK

What you will do

• Resolve technical and service issues across complex IP networks, coordinating with internal teams.
• Provide 2nd line incident support, including fault prioritisation and diagnostics.
• Produce accurate operational and performance reporting to support service availability targets.
• Maintain security, regulatory, and safety policy compliance for critical network operations.
• Manage relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to process enhancements and assist in refining support systems and procedures.

Requirements

• Eligible to gain and hold Government Security Clearance to DV Level.
• Qualified in JNCIA JunOS or proven equivalent experience.
• Proven experience and understanding of IP data networks, including WAN protocols and technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of IPSEC.
• Ability to work fully on-site in Corsham with no home working.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
• Experience with cryptographic network devices.
• Ability to manage workload independently and deliver against agreed targets.
