What you will do

• Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of World Builders and Level Artists.
• Collaborate with Art, Design, and Narrative Leads to ensure artistic consistency and believable environments.
• Design and optimize modular architectural systems for game levels.
• Establish realistic development schedules and provide objective, empathetic feedback.
• Coordinate workflows and manage asset lists in collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Facilitate efficient interdisciplinary communication to build the game world.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in game development with an emphasis on environmental art or level architecture.
• At least 2 shipped AAA titles, with at least one in a leadership capacity.
• Proficiency in UE5/UE4 and industry-standard tools: 3ds Max, Maya, ZBrush, Substance, and Photoshop.
• Proven experience leading artists, including goal-setting and performance management.
• Strong understanding of spatial composition, proportions, and basic architecture.
• Must be based in Novato, California.
