What you will do

• Lead the technical design and execution of complex software engineering projects in the data and storage area.
• Design, develop, test, and debug operating systems that run hirify.global storage applications.
• Decompose complex problems into simple, well-scoped solutions and actionable plans for the team.
• Guide and coordinate the technical work of less senior engineers through design and code reviews.
• Partner with senior and principal engineers to align on architecture and long-term technical direction.
• Drive root-cause analysis and resolution for complex customer escalations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in commercial software development.
• 4+ years of experience in data management systems and storage platforms.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with file systems, distributed systems, client-server programming, and multi-threaded applications.
• Strong proficiency in systems programming using C and Object-Oriented programming in C++.
• Experience developing Unix-based operating system kernels such as FreeBSD or Linux.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Computer Science preferred).
