What you will do

• Build and maintain automation pipelines for market creation, parameter configuration, and lifecycle updates.
• Integrate sports APIs, news feeds, and other external data sources to drive market resolution.
• Design pipelines for reliability, idempotency, and fast failure detection through monitoring and alerting.
• Contribute to data-driven systems that ensure markets resolve accurately and on time.
• Debug production failures across markets infrastructure under time pressure.
• Participate in code reviews and engineering design discussions.

Requirements

• 1–4 years of professional backend engineering experience or equivalent evidence via strong internships and personal projects.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Python, or Go (strong in at least one).
• Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs and working with inconsistent or poorly documented real-world data.
• Proven track record of shipping production-ready code or maintaining public repositories.
• Must be based in New York (On-site).
• Comfort with AI-native development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.

Nice to have

• Personal projects built on Polymarket, Kalshi, or other prediction market APIs.
• Exposure to queues, streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or workflow engines.
• Genuine interest in prediction markets, sports, or trading.
