Trainee (Legal)

TL;DR

Trainee (Legal): Providing legal support to the Legal Department's offices in pharmaceutical law, litigation, and general affairs with an accent on EU pharmaceutical legislation and legal research. Focus on assisting legal administrators, researching case-law, and handling requests for access to documents.

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid: up to 40% teleworking from The Netherlands)

What you will do

• Support the Pharma Law, Litigation, and General Affairs offices in delivering legal assistance to the Agency.
• Contribute to projects regarding general pharmaceutical legislation (GPL) and access to documents.
• Handle inquiries from the European Ombudsman and support litigation activities.
• Research relevant case-law and write reports on legal matters.
• Assist Legal Administrators by attending meetings and providing operational support.

Requirements

• Citizen of an EU Member State, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Norway.
• University degree in law (obtained between 30.09.2025 and 30.09.2026), or be a PhD/Master's/Erasmus+ student.
• English: C1 level required.
• Other official EU language: B2 level required.
• Knowledge of EU law or EU pharmaceutical law obtained through studies or experience.
