Junior Project Manager

TL;DR

Junior Project Manager (Business Services): Managing and delivering work orders for government and corporate customers with an accent on project delivery and stakeholder communication. Focus on coordinating project activities, managing RAID logs, and ensuring delivery within time, cost, and quality constraints.

Location: Onsite in Bristol, UK (5 days a week). Must have resided in the UK for a minimum of five years to undergo National Security Vetting (SC and NPPV levels).

What you will do

• Deliver work orders of varying size and complexity for large government and corporate customers.
• Organize and control delivery activities, tracking actions and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across BT and the customer.
• Manage identified risks and issues by maintaining a RAID log.
• Book and manage delivery resources, including interfacing with 3rd party suppliers.
• Provide status updates and contribute to overall programme and project governance.

Requirements

• Residency in the UK for a minimum of five years (required for security clearance).
• Full-time onsite presence in Bristol.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and effective delivery.
• Confidence in engaging others through verbal, written, and presentation-based communication.
• Proactive, positive mindset with a drive to succeed in high-pressure environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
• Working knowledge of project delivery methodologies and techniques.
• Experience using AI tools, such as Copilot, to support productivity.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
