What you will do

• Develop enabling chemistry during early and late stage research to support development-readiness decisions.
• Design and optimize processes to manufacture Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) from early development through Phase III.
• Participate in the production of early phase GMP clinical supplies in collaboration with the clinical manufacturing team.
• Select late stage GMP API manufacturing routes, focusing on safety, efficiency, and robustness.
• Establish robust supply chains for regulatory starting materials.
• Author relevant CMC sections of INDs and contribute to the overall quality strategy.

Requirements

• PhD in a highly relevant scientific discipline.
• 0-3 years of industry experience.
• Outstanding record of innovation and sustained publication record.
• Strong working knowledge of contemporary synthetic organic and process chemistry, including chemo- and bio-catalysis, organometallic chemistry, asymmetric transformations, and heterocyclic/peptide chemistry.
• Ability to operate and lead within a CMC/cross-functional environment.
