Tax Manager (LatAm)

Location: Must be based in or hired to work in Mexico or Colombia (Mexico City mentioned)

What you will do

• Own and project manage the LATAM tax compliance calendar, covering corporate income tax, VAT, and transfer pricing.
• Coordinate third-party advisors and local finance teams across LATAM to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.
• Review tax returns, calculations, and workpapers to ensure alignment with group policy and business models.
• Assess withholding tax impact on cross-border payments, royalties, and intercompany flows.
• Monitor transfer pricing compliance deadlines and coordinate local files and supporting documentation.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and Treasury on new transactions, restructurings, and operating changes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of tax experience in-house, Big Four, or professional practice.
• Strong exposure to LATAM corporate tax and withholding tax matters.
• Practical understanding of VAT/indirect tax and transfer pricing coordination in LATAM.
• Fluent Spanish and strong written and spoken English.
• Qualification as an accountant, tax lawyer, or equivalent finance professional.
• Eligibility to work in Mexico or Colombia.
